Like any career, it can be difficult to find work without previous experience but also like in most fields this hurdle can be overcome through hard work and effective study.

Once you received a diploma, it can still be hard to find work. It's not impossible to do, it just takes a little time so you'll have to be patient and show persistence.
One thing that is important to consider is that you should concentrate on your own strengths and interests in the field of design. For example, if you are strong in residential design then focus your research on companies which specialize in residential interior design.
