Well, like the other comments on here - I am totally pleased with my decision to use them to re-write my resume and cover letter. I was very sceptical and afraid of getting ripped off. After reading previous comments about Aspirations I decided to send my resume for review. Marie was very honest and I knew I had to try them. Rachael was my writer and I was happy with the FIRST draft of the resume and cover letter. The day I received it, I emailed it to a recruiter I had met earlier that day - she was totally impressed by the difference between what I had given her and the “new” resume by Aspirations. As I am not able to use the paid service at the moment, I sincerely appreciate the free evaluaion of my resume. It gave me specific items to try to change and suggested new ways to present my accomplishments and job duties. It was greatly detailed and straight to the point of re-working my resume. I will certainly keep the information to order the services handy until I may be able to order.

Ms. Plett: I want to thank you and Makini Harvey for helping me to secure gainful employment - namely, with the US Army through an agency. The timeline is as follows:
In July 2007, I returned to Hawaii and started looking for a job. Between 2007 and through June 2008, I was interviewed for several positions but was not able to secure gainful employment. My resume was quite long and in a narrative form.
In July 2008, I contacted ASPIRATIONSRESUME and with the assistance from you and Makini Harvey, I was able to get a wonderful 2-page,to-the-point resume, which I sent out right away.
In August 2008 (about two weeks after receiving my resume from you), I was contacted by a company, asking if I wanted to work as a licensed clinical social worker at a federal job site, to which I agreed.
In September 2008, I was interviewed for this federal job position.
In November 2008, the position was offered to me to which I (of course) accepted. I started my employment with this federal agency on November 12, 2008.
I could not have secured my current job without the help from you and Ms. Harvey. I am grateful for your dedication and sincerity in helping others to seek jobs, especially during the current economic situation.

WOW! Marie, thank you! My resume turned out amazing!!! I am currenty working on my MBA and I am returing to the full-time work force after having a baby 2 years ago. I was discouraged to reenter the job market with the resume that I had. Marie transformed my old resume into an eye-catching, professional, and unique product. I have a Master’s and as you all know when you are out looking for jobs and you don’t have enough experience, a lot of people don’t care that you have a degree!!!! I posted my current resume to ASPIRATIONSRESUME.COM and I rec’d feedback from Marie.

Makini H was wonderful, tactful and encouraging. Her feedbacks were concise and educational. Not once did she talk down to me or laughed at my lengthy and wordy resume. I was allowed to voice my opinions and she gracefully stated her position. The longer I spoke with her, I realized she was doing reflective lisltening. I would say something and she would repeat what I said and then articulate her position. She was a great listener, and was thus able to compose a meaningfu resume and cover letter. I have not yet submitted this wonderful resume to future employers. When I get a hit I will let you know. Once again, thank you Makini.
Not once did she act disrespectful but did reflective listening.

I enjoyed a great experience here. The writers were very professional, timely, curteous, and above all, talented. I had a lot of fun doing this and have recommended these guys to all of my friends and family.
It should be noted that I sent my resume to many firms offering a free evaluation, and it looked as though Aspirations Resume was the only company who actually read my resume and had great insights. I am an executive recruiter, and I have worked with other resume writing firms in the past, but Aspirations is by far the best service I have had the privledge to reccomend to job seekers. After doing much research on different resume services, I decided to send my resume to Aspirations for an evaluation. I was so impressed with their comments that I knew this was the service I wanted to prepare my new resume and cover letter. Patricia was my resume writer and she immediately zeroed in on my strengths and highlighted them by her incredible use of words. When I read the first draft, I thought, “Whose resume is this?” AND IT WAS MINE! We only had to do a few minor rewrites and then came the big test. I sent out 12 resumes and had two responses the NEXT day! I sent a resume to an organization that had gotten my resume a few months ago. At that time, I had no response. This time, they were VERY excited to interview me so I know that the difference was the EXCELLENT resume.
